Honey and spice puffs.

4 Dec

These were inspired by both a recipe of lemon puffs i once did which got a lot of positive comments from my friends as well as the christmas atmosphere and the amount of gingerbread men i see being baked everywhere i go, i decided to do some spicy puffs, both healthy but full of taste! They are what you can have when you’re craving something chewy like a warm bread roll.

Ingredients: (makes 24)
2 cups all purpose flour
1 cup whole wheat flour
1 tablespoon fructose sugar
1 tablespoon cinnamon
1/3 cup honey
1 egg
A dash of nutmeg, cloves and ginger.
1/3 cup molasses
Dark chocolate chips.
1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/5 cup almond milk

Mix all the dry ingredients together, then in a separate bowl mix the egg, honey and molasses and add to dry ingredients, add milk to soften a little. When well combined add in the chocolate chips or leave to place on top of each cookie before baking.

Place in a baking tray in equal sizes, make sure they are quite thin. Leave in oven for about 7 minuets.
