Why have avocado for breakfast?

A crunchy piece of whole wheat toast for breakfast is the perfect way to start my day personally, but to add a little bit more nutrients to that breakfast you need to always think, what to put on your piece of toast?

Scratch the butter and jam from your list and change replace them with healthier and more nutritious choices.

These may still be high in calorie, but they have so much more benefit for your body. This may be peanut butter or other nut butters which I will post about another day, but also egg whites and avocado and different vegetables.

avocado:

research shows that people who have a high-fat breakfast will have an increased metabolism and are less likely to feel hungry for the rest of the day. Morning is the best time to get those healthy fats that you need.

It’s also rich in fiber, protein and antioxidants.

You can add avocado’s in your salads, smoothies or simply on a piece of toast.

Get creative and do what you prefer most, but remember, don’t overdo it, because too much of anything is always bad!

 

1 whole wheat loaf of bread

1/2 avocado pureed

1/2 tomato cut up in small peices

1 boiled egg white mashed

 

mix all together and spread on the loaf of bread. Personally, this is my favorite breakfast!
