winter orange and pomegranate snack

11 Jan

The first thing I usually associate fruit with, is fresh and cold. They’re something i find very summery and refreshing but lately now that its winter, and the temperature is so much colder than anyone expected this year, cooked fruits are starting to work their charm on me slowly.

after having that warm apple i decided to try something a little more adventurous, instead of eating my pomegranates on their own like i usually do i came up with this warm fruit snack.

1 orange

1/2 cup pomegranate seeds

handfull walnuts

1/2 cup oats

put the walnuts and oats in the food processor until powdered.

place them on the base of your container, a thing layer.

sqeeze a little orange juice to make more sticky.

cut up the orange in circles and place on top.

sprinkle some pomegranates on top.

place in oven on 180 degrees for around 30 minuets.

you can also add some honey with the walnuts and oats, to make them stick better and to be more sweet. IMG_8276 IMG_8275
