Healthy french toast sandwich.

The perfect breakfast is to have plenty of proteins and carbohydrates so it can stay in your stomach for longer, and you don’t feel hungry or the need to keep snacking throughout the whole day.

 

I wanted something different than my normal egg sandwiches, but i still wanted to use eggs. and spinach.

 

so i cracked an egg and scrambled it adding in some milk, i dipped two loaves of whole wheat bread in the egg mixture and put them in the pan, with no oil.

after they baked well i put some spinach between the two loaves and toasted it.

 

I wasn’t sure if the bread was going to turn out nice, but it was a huge success; and a healthy substitute to french toast. next time i will probably make plain french toasts with some honey or fruit on top. Definitely one of my favorite and most filling breakfasts.IMG_8247
